Welcome to Roue's Rubs

So I  was standing in the supermarket checking out the label on a seasoning mix that I was thinking about trying for my family.  I turned the package over to read a little information about the product - like how many pounds of chicken would this mix season, did I need any additional ingredients, etc. It took me a while to even find that information because most of the packing was covered with the list of ingredients. I started reading the ingredients and all I could think was 'I don't even know how to say half of these ingredient names, much less begin to identify what it is or does.

When I am working in the kitchen and I want to add a little zest or flavor to my meals I want to add things like Garlic, Cumin, Paprika, you know spices.  I can't remember a time I have ever sat down to a meal and thought 'oooh you know a sprinkle of maltodextrin or thiamine hydrochloride would really bring out the flavor in these fajitas.' Ammiright?

I decided right then and there that I would not eat anymore of these prepackaged seasonings, marinades, rubs, etc. I certainly didn't want to feed that stuff to my family.  So I started experimenting in the kitchen with a pinch of this and a dash of that. Pretty soon I had a little collection of seasoning blends that my family and friends started to rave about.

Some of my favorites are the seasonings I consider 'grilling must haves.' A lot of these seasonings can be used as rubs as well.  I started sending home little packets of my seasonings with dinner guests that raved about the meals we served.  It wasn't long until they started asking for more!

All of our seasoning blends are made fresh to order and we keep our prices as reasonable as possible.  Give us a try (I promise you'll come back for more).
